The future is now!

So, apparently in the future no one will read physical books anymore, they will read them on electronic readers. Books will become anachronistic like vinyl or Betamax. I don't know what this means for the relative worth of the ideas in these books, or those who make it up, but nonetheless Brad Stone and Nick Bilton of the New York Times wrote an article about the "deluge" of reading devices on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last month.

Here's Apple's propoganda about their "revolutionary" iPad. I'm skeptical, but anything that gets people reading and actually paying for the books is a winner in my book.
